I'm guessing you mean The Talk and not The View. I have read and heard
enough stories about show business to know when a studio has a major change
of leadership everything approved under the old regime is dead. Since the
interim CEO of CBS was known as Moonves's enforcer it's possible Chen could
have stayed on The Talk at least until the shift to new management was
complete. But she would have been a lame duck producer/host and that would
make sure the topic of Les and his criminal behavior would stay on CBS all
the time.
