On Friday, I was unexpectedly away from home and needed to set my DVR to pick up a show.
Much to my surprise the "record" option on the Xfinity app was gone. (I later discovered that it was removed in late November.) A quick Google search found the following message below. Yes, I had read about Comcast losing the patent infringement lawsuit, but I had no idea exactly what it meant -- the loss (forever?) of my favorite feature. Anyone know if there's any hope for restoration? Do other cable companies have this feature?
