He deserved more credit for the laughs he stole on Soap and Benson. Often the scripts gave him no dialogue, and he managed belly laughs with a simple look or an inaudible mumble.
Then there is his voice in Lion King. But, yeah, he made the most out of brilliant material in SportsNight. And his post-stroke return brought a tear to my eye.
