I suppose that frenzy reached its tipping point with the murder of the
guest on the Jenny Jones show (and subsequent civil lawsuit). Not to sound
like the old man I am rapidly becoming, but in an age where anybody can
SnapChat or Instagram or YouTube themselves, we no longer need a Jerry
Springer to filter the crazy. Hell, we got the craziest reality TV star of
them all dropping bombs on Afghanistan... what could they possibly book on
a daytime talk show to compete with that?
