The summer before I started my doctoral program in clinical psychology I ent to the American Psychological Convention and attended a session which screened *Ordinary People* and then had a few famous clinicians discuss it. I taught a college course on Principles of Counseling for 25 years, and I screened that film every year. I not only know every one of her lines, but practically every movement of every facial muscle. Its a wonderful performance, and what I found is that the older I got, the less I onl thought of her as a bitch, and the more I felt sorry for her. -- Sent from Gmail Mobile
