Version 10.2 of Apple's mobile device operating system removes the "video"
app and replaces it with the "TV" app, intended to provide one location for
all the other video apps (i.e. Hulu, HBO-Go). This -- of course -- excludes
DRM-free videos, for which you'll either need the VLC app or a 1st
generation iPad which cannot update to subsequent operating systems and
thus still allows all video content to be played on its video app (back
when Steve Jobs was still alive).

As someone who converted all my prior forms of media to digital myself, I'm
annoyed that Apple inconveniences me by not letting me group them with
iTunes purchases. And I don't use any of the network or studio specific
media streaming services, so the app change is mostly meaningless to me.
One thing they finally did was allow me to ONLY scroll through content
downloaded on my iPad. I've bought a lot of stuff on iTunes over the years
and to be able to just view the stuff on the device without scrolling
through the rest of it is a plus for me.
