I spent sometime working on a clever header (maybe something involving "George is Getting Angry"), but as Jason Alexander tweeted:
"I know there's a joke there somewhere but right now I only find it sad.” Things I did not know: 1. Rob Reiner sold his interest in Castle Rock early in the Seinfeld run 2. The deplorable Steve Bannon played some role (it seems to me exaggerated) in saving Seinfeld 3. As of 2013, “Seinfeld” has generated $3.1 billion in repeat fees since it went off the air. I have supported/voted for the loser in a majority of presidential elections held during my lifetime; in that sense I am used to feeling bummed after a presidential election. But what we are going through right now is completely new territory. This goes far beyond partisan ideological differences. People like Bannon are quite literally among the worst people in the country, and they are now going to be running the government, making and enforcing the laws and regulations. Its like Democrats arrogantly said "We can be as obnoxiously self-congratulatory as we want, because we know you will never elect those Trump people, they are too horrible". And the country said "They are too horrible, but you guys are so obnoxious we would literally rather put a bullet through our brain" - and then they went ahead and pulled the trigger. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/rob-reiner-sick-steve-bannon-money-seinfeld-article-1.2878123 -- -- TV or Not TV ....
