I do enjoy getting nostalgic about the Southern California of my youth, so a while ago I started following some of the social media figures who are influential in the region's historic preservation movement. Mistake. They are as militant a lobbying group as the NRA. Even as someone who agrees with much of their goals, the tactics sometimes used are mean-spirited attacks. Disagree with them at your peril.
