It seems to me that the first TV showing of "Rocky Horror" was on FX when they were fX and "TV Made Fresh Daily." Seems to me that they invited people into their Flatiron District apartment studio to do all of the audience participation schtick that could be done on basic cable in 1995 and that the live antics were in a box insert in the corner of the screen during the showing of the film. Of course, it works better when you're actually there in person than watching on television, but it was a nice try.
