It will be interesting to see how long they can keep plates spinning before they have to explain what's going on. As a limited 13-episode series, it could be really fascinating, but as an American network show that would like to last multiple seasons, it will be difficult to avoid slipping into standard sitcom tropes. (You mentioned "Last Man on Earth" before, which I stopped watching when it went from a couple of people dealing with the post-apocalyptic world in their own ways to more standard sitcom plots as people kept showing up.) -- -- TV or Not TV ....
