I've seen FOX slide "The Simpsons" if there is a Red Flag during a NASCAR race. One time, the Busch Race lasted long enough, they had to join "Cops" in progress in the east. it's happened with baseball too. In NBC's case, they did the right thing, even though SNL was a repeat.
