For some reason I keep going over this story and I thought of another reason why there might not be too much enthusiasm for the Olympics. The Olympics will be on instead of American Ninja Warrior and America's Got Talent. In the past network TV was scripted shows and when the Olympics came it was a chance to break that routine and watch competition bookended by background stories about the participants.
