And the repeat of the "Match Game '16" premiere (I know that's not the official title, but...) seemed to win the time slot, which is interesting.
It should be pointed out that "Greatest Hits" is a music show, not another reality comp. If the idea of the show is to provide something like those Grammy once-in-a-lifetime performances (especially with longtime Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich the showrunner), it delivered for the most part. Arsenio introd the acts and stayed out of the way for the most part (outside of the director's insistence of getting reaction shots of him and co-host Kelsea Ballestrini) and Ballestrini, who is a rising country singer, is pleasant enough eye candy. I could be more critical, but it's nice to have a musical variety show on the air, especially considering the disaster area that is "Maya and Marty."
