The WaPo <https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-switch/wp/2016/01/13/your-local-tv-station-may-have-just-secretly-decided-to-go-off-the-air/> (link) reported (again) on the fact that few if any stations have admitted to signing up for the coming spectrum auction that would see some stations switching to different channels/subchannels and others disappearing from the dial altogether; the Feds haven't identified them, not that at least one commissioner wouldn't want that to happen.
