Quite cool to see that “Doug” and “Julie” are still alive!  I was watching the 
show when they first began having an affair.

 

 

The Horton family ornaments are seen on TV for the final time in the clip 
linked to in the article. They have been donated to the Smithsonian as part of 
the show's 50th anniversary. Future episodes will feature replicas of the

I still can't figure out how Maggie and Victor hooked up, but I suppose one 
shouldn't dive too deeply into any soap opera's romantic history.
