I cannot help but recall when I helped two coworkers audition for this series a few years ago. I coached them about how to behave in line at the cattle call, how to interact with the PAs and the others in the crowd, what to say, how to act, etc. The duo made the front page of the newspaper in San Diego, and by the time they made it inside, the producers had already heard of them. Everything was going smoothly until round two. I told them what they needed to wear to stay in the game -- these were attractive women, both school teachers (one tall, one short; one blond, one ginger; one marathon runner, one party girl), and they rejected my wardrobe suggestions and were immediately eliminated as potential contestants. Note: I didn't tell them to dress slutty, but I did tell them they needed to remind the producers that they'd be good eye candy. They ended up dressing too conservatively.
