Until someone shows me proof that the showrunner deliberately scheduled that
interview to run against the moment of silence, I'm treating it as coincidence
("the cherry on top", as I referenced earlier in the thread). I'm guessing that
if you looked at the last half-hour of the previous week's Today shows, any of
the segments would've been in the same category of vapidness associated with
that block.
