Since it wasn't mentioned in the LA Times piece, I'll note that on Friday Colbert will be at Fordham for a no-media event with Cardinal Dolan on humor and religion.

Another item in favor of the argument is the relative absence of This Week in God segments on The Daily Show since Stephen went to his own program. They have tried, but no other correspondent really clicked with it like Colbert.
