This could be a monotonous rant for me, so I"ll get this out of the way now and try not to repeat it. The new show Vegas is about Ralph Lamb cleaning up mob corruption in Las Vegas as sheriff. Lamb was an improvement, but he was also corrupt. Rather than giving breaks to the mob, he gave breaks to the establishment. If the mob broke the rules, he cracked down on them. Howard Hughes and other establishment types, to steal a Tina Fey line from SNL, got wobblejobs.
