It was hard to tell, even with an HD set, but I believe he wrote "Love" on 
one knee and "Hate" on the other, akin to prison/gang knuckle tattoos.

The only piece of the new set that has me a little uneasy is Secretariat's 
door.  I'm not sure that I like the idea of making the panto horse a 
permanent fixture of the set; it'd be like building a little puppet theater 
down center - sure, we know they're part of the show, but making them 
permanent fixtures just seems to take some of the spontaneity out of it.

Also, while the lighting IS vastly improved, I actually thought a slightly 
darker stage worked to Craig's benefit, at least during the monologue and 
cold open.  And they need to get a light on Craig for when he goes in close 
during the monologue - he definitely felt more distant from the camera 
during last night's show.
