Armstrong was an unusual and interesting guy. What strikes me about this flub is my experience having administered what feels like a million IQ tests over the years. One of the early, and supposedly easy questions on the most commonly administered individual IQ test is "Who was the first man to walk on the moon?". I am always shocked how many people answer: "Louis Armstrong". So, for me at least, he lived much of his life as Louis Armstrong, and went out (briefly) as Neil Young. -- TV or Not TV ....
