Rachel M. is reporting that the local Denver CBS affiliate accepted
Romney's deal that he would give them an interview if they agreed not to
ask him about abortion or Akin (
http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2012/08/23/13439362-interviews-with-strings-attached?lite).
Maybe Obama can do interviews and demand that they not ask him about the
unemployment rate - or maybe that they can only ask him about killing Bin
Laden and cutting middle class income taxes.

WTF? I guess I missed an iteration in the rapid decline and fall of
journalistic standards in television news. I am not naive enough to be
surprised that this happens, but I guess I am naive enough to have assumed
that this practice would be stigmatizing enough that no news operation
would actually admit it, for fear of the stink and shame. I guess, at long
last, television news has left no sense of decency.
