John Walson jnr, whose father back in 1948 famously built a large antenna atop a Pennsylvania mountain and strung cable down it to the nearby town, rose through the ranks to head the largest of the three companies called Service Electric, the one currently serving the Allentown and Wilkes-Barre areas and parts of northwestern New Jersey.
