The service technician who (somewhat) fixed a problem recently told me that Comcast is concentrating on its new security business and that my request -- a DVR that records several shows at the same time -- was on the back burner. Also receiving lower priority than its security business, he told me: beefed-up On Demand offerings.
I also had a really bad experience with Comcast's phone service. It's a long story, but my phone and internet service were cut off until I installed the phone software, which I wasn't interested in doing. Terrible system. If I didn't have a cell phone, I wouldn't have been able to contact anyone to fix the problem. Needless to say, I don't have Comcast phone service. I'm quite satisfied with Vonage. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Joe Hass Sent: Friday, July 27, 2012 10:35 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [TV orNotTV] What would Comcast spend $180 million on?
