Hi, I have done some introductory courses with Python, but they did not cover how to get Python (3.7 version 64 bit) up and running on my own computer. I have it downloaded on my Windows 10 computer and made sure in my "Environment Variables" that it has the path (C:\Users\aimee6\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python37\lib\site-packages). But whenever I try to run any commands like "python --version" I get this error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<pyshell#0>", line 1, in <module> python NameError: name 'python' is not defined
I am just not sure what step I am missing. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and I hope you are having a great night!
