I have been reading the interesting web page "Semantic Versioning 2.0.0" at https://semver.org/ I like how its use can supposedly make "dependency hell" a thing of the past. So I am wondering if Python and its standard libraries make use of semantic versioning as described in this article? But I suppose that for third party libraries anything goes?
