Hello. I am using TurboVNC in a program ground system deployment. Operators use TurboVNC viewer installed on their program-furnished laptops to connect to remote TurboVNC server sessions. ACLs and Security Types are used.
The problem I have encountered is apparently TurboVNC and TigerVNC are listed by Homeland Security as "unauthorized software" meaning admins are no longer allowing the client software on the program-furnished laptops. I am trying to find a client-side replacement that will still be compatible with the TurboVNC server sessions, but thus far have not found anything, particularly given the fact the ACLs and security Types are in use. Has anyone (users, developers, maintainers, etc.) ever used clients other than TurboVNC or TigerVNC to connect to a TurboVNC server session? If so, any recommendations? Thank you for any feedback on this question. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboVNC User Discussion/Support" group.
