TurboGears 2.3.9 has been released. To achieve better Python3.4 and 3.5 support and be future proof by being in control of the whole stack this release includes the long discussed switch to Kajiki as the default template engine. Genshi is still supported but newly quickstarted projects will be created with kajiki unless otherwise specified.
Fear not a simple (and mostly automatic) migration path has been defined for all genshi users out there willing to move to the new engine. Unless your relied heavily on xpath support in genshi most of the TurboGears apps can be migrated by running commands available in http://turbogears.readthedocs.io/en/latest/turbogears/kajiki-xml-templates.html#converting-genshi-templates-to-kajiki Full release notes are available at: https://plus.google.com/+turbogears/posts/6VUzfGSw3sn -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
