I'm not an expert but I remember that if ipython is installed inside your
virtual environment then it will be used as interactive shell making
available you app there. have you ipython installed inside you virtual
environment? although you may have already ipython installed on your system
tg will not use it as a shell if it will not be found inside your virtual
environment.
