Hi Les, GMail requires using application-specific passwords, not your main
one. You'll have to set up a special password and use that for logging in.
In addition to that, I remember that they had a plan of deprecating all
authentication methods except OAUTH2, which is an authentication using your
web browser. Trojita currently doesn't do OAUTH2 (patches welcome). I don't
know whether GMail actually went ahead with the plan.
