So, not a bug in Trojitá, but maybe a usability nit in the threading behavior.
AFAIK, Trojita only uses server-side threading, so this may not be Trojita's fault. (Threading is cached for use offline, however.) You can test this by sorting by arrival without threading, copying a thread to another folder, going offline and then setting sorting by threading: you'll get a message that there is an issue because you are offline.
