Hi, a huge thanks to Pali for initiating and maintaining our MinGW setup,
to Christian for maintaining the build nodes for years, and to Fedora
developers for making the MinGW toolchain available on RHEL7. We now have
automated builds of a Windows, Qt4-based installer for each proposed patch.
Here's how it works:
- The committed and merged changes are at [1].
- For unapproved patches under review, the installer is at [2]. The first
number is the changeset number from Gerrit, the rest is a random
identifier.
- The CI voting is advisory for now. I will be switching to a blocking CI
in a few days.
I'll be setting up some cronjob for cleaning up obsolete builds soon. A
failing build is not indicated anywhere, nothing gets uploaded. We're
relying on CI for this.
Feedback on how well this works and/or testing the installers is
appreciated.
Cheers,
Jan
