I already created a build with this tar.gz. However contrary to the debug builds the resulting trojita.exe in the release build depends on msvcr100.dll.

This is very strange. As far as I know using the minGW compiler suite should not require this dll to be present. I will try to get back to this tonight and send you a link to a working build.

Hi, mingw website [1] says that "It does depend on a number of DLLs provided by Microsoft themselves, as components of the operating system; most notable among these is MSVCRT.DLL, the Microsoft C runtime library.". I have no knowledge of how that platform works, but perhaps this is expected? I cannot explain how come that the debug version does not need it, though.

Perhaps someone on the ML could help? Added to Cc.

Cheers,
Jan
