Hi folks,
for those of you not on the IRC, pretty exciting new -- it seems that
people who work with Ubuntu Touch are being interested in Trojita; there
are at least three independent ports which are being worked on now
[1][2][3] :).
I would like to ask folks to help make this smooth. If you see someone
mentioning that they work on porting Trojita, *please* ask them to get in
touch with us. The sooner they start working with upstream, the easier it
is to help them when they hit a problem. Some common bits like e.g. the QML
performance issues when working with huge lists [4] have been already
solved when Trojita was first ported to the QML for Nokia's MeeGo
Harmattan.
It seems that we're a pretty succesfull open source project now that people
hack on it without even telling us :).
