I tested the 17, October nightly build (for about 30 seconds) and this one seems to work correctly. Thanks so much for the help. Now I need to see if I can get Susan to tolerate the lack of little niceties like having to set the sort order on every running of the program and having to set the column widths, having to select the inbox on program startup, or having to ask that remote graphics be loaded for every viewing of every email. I have both Trojita and Thunderbird loaded on her machine and I fear she may want to use Thunderbird until Trojita is a little more user friendly. Thanks again for the help Christian (and you too Jan) I will continue to use Trojita for my graphical client (Mutt is my daily workhorse) so even if Susan doesn't elect to use it right now, I will have her look at it again when the user presentation is a little more friendly.
