I dislike marketing as much as you do, but the sad thing is that we have
nobody in that department here at Trojita subproject :). Presenting what
you've done is also a part of the GSoC.
Could you please prepare a short writeup? If you are unsure about the
structure, something along the following should work:
- a few sentences about yourself ("a student at XYZ who is interested in
ABC and also contributed to FOO and BAR")
- you're in the GSoC because you happen to like DEF and Trojita does FGH
which is close enough
- you're working on BLAHBLAH, it isn't ready, but screenshots are at ...
and already show that it's amazing
- you're well on track, like your mentors :) (well, feel free to omit that
part, seriously :) ) and are sure that this experience is going to be a
boost for your professional career
- thanks to people at KDE for organizing this and to Google for signing the
paycheck
I hope this is not going to take you more than an hour or two. I'll be
happy to proofread it and publish it on my blog when you're OK with the
result.
