The code changes are merged to master branch. You are now clear to submit changes or patches to existing reviews.
The master branch now supports CDH 5.2, 5.3 and HDP 2.2. It is no longer compatible with prior distros. Be aware when you rebase your workspace to the latest on master that it now requires new hadoop. New build and full regression testing should happen overnight. -Steve From: Trafodion-development [mailto:trafodion-development-bounces+steve.varnau=hp....@lists.launchpad.net] On Behalf Of Varnau, Steve (Trafodion) Sent: Friday, March 13, 2015 14:13 To: Trafodion-Development@lists.launchpad.net Subject: [Trafodion-development] Master branch migrating to HBase 0.98.4 - this weekend! Trafodion Developers, We are planning to migrate to new version of HBase on the master branch this weekend. * The change is not backward compatible to current version of HBase. * The automated testing (for master branch) will make a hard switchover to new Hadoop distros this weekend. * Please do not submit any new changes (or patchsets) on Sunday (U.S. time) until you see an all clear message. (The tests will fail.) * It is okay to have reviews in progress, they will test with the new changes after they are merged on Sunday. * Monday's daily build will require new distros * HortonWorks 2.2 * Cloudera 5.2 or 5.3 (tested with 5.3) * When you rebase or merge your workspace with the new changes, your local_hadoop will need to be updated * swuninstall_local_hadoop * install_local_hadoop -Steve
