Starting with today's build (20140716_*), the installer is packaged separately from the trafodion tarball.
http://downloads.trafodion.org/ For pre-release and release builds, the installer version in the file name will have two parts: the trafodion version that it supports and the version of the installer itself. Example: installer-0.8.3_v1.tar.gz Indicates that is the first version of the installer supporting 0.8.3 release of trafodion. Splitting the packaging allows for multiple releases of installer per Trafodion release. This allows clearer indication of what has changed when new release files are posted. -Steve
