Hi Trafodion Developers, This is just a heads-up that on Thursday, July 11, the Infrastructure team will be creating a proposed release candidate branch for the July release.
This branch will be a snapshot of the master branch on that date. The goal will be to make that branch stable for use by the Trafodion user community by July 18. To that end, changes to the proposed branch will be restricted to critical fixes. Your Technical Committee has appointed four Release Managers for this proposed candidate branch. Only these four people should be approvers for this branch. The four folks are (drum roll, please): Hans Zeller Narendra Goyal Dave Birdsall Marvin Anderson The master branch will be available as usual for development, with no further restrictions. If you have a fix for the proposed candidate branch, you will need to submit that fix for both the proposed branch and the master branch. Very shortly, the Infrastructure team will be publishing instructions on the wiki on how to submit to the proposed branch, and how to cherry pick changes from one branch and apply them to the other.
