Switches and checkboxes are used for different things: switches for noun phrases that can be considered on/off, checkboxes for verb or adjective phrases that are agreed to or not.
Unfortunately, switches and checkboxes currently look very similar. This bug will be fixed when checkboxes are moved to the left of their labels, or when the visual design of switches is changed so that they no longer contain a checkmark. ** Package changed: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) => ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-ui-toolkit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1481565 Title: Sound settings mix checkbox and toggle widgets Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: $ system-image-cli -i current build number: 83 device name: krillin channel: ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris.en last update: 2015-08-03 03:47:33 version version: 83 version ubuntu: 20150803 version device: 20150716-fb60d96 version custom: 20150717-820-30-25-vivid Steps to reproduce: 1.Open Sound settings page, from System Settings-->Sound 2.The check box style of vibrate related are not unified with others To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/+bug/1481565/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
