On a related note: systemd-timesyncd seems to be blindly imported from Debian so it defaults to *.debian.pool.ntp.org - if Ubuntu consider itself to be a separate product than it might make sense to apply for *.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org

Replacing this dependency will allow to save some space on install media and make learning easier for new users because timesyncd follows exact same configuration convention as the rest of the stack which makes it natural to get aquainted with.
