I expected to upgrade:
root@ubuntu-14101504a2:~# sudo do-release-upgrade -d
but I got error message at the end.
fixed it with:
root@ubuntu-14101504a2:~# sudo dpkg -a --configure
and
root@ubuntu-14101504a2:~# apt-get -f install
