Title: Cached (?) lock screen messages not translated Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: This has been seen by me and also confirmed by a Bq owner. Switching languages, at least string "No photos taken today" is kept shown in English possibly for days after the language switch. Only when eg. a photo is taken, and then the next day a photo isn't taken, the "No photos taken today" is shown as translated. I'm assuming some sort of passing of the string is done and the _("") is not called again appropriately but the string instead is kept as is stored somewhere.
