** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1314733 Title: Launcher: app-icons couldn't be added, removed or moved Status in Unity: Expired Status in unity package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: i have this bug since 13.10 i guess and it is really annoying! on new user accounts everything works normal but on my own user account i can't do anything with the Launcher icons, i.e. no moving, no adding with drag and drop, no removing. i've made a new account and everything works fine i imported my compiz setting with ccsm to check if this is a compiz problem, but everything still works fine. it seems that this is caused by some files in my home directory because even after a fresh install of 14.04 this behaviour occurs (i made a fresh install and mounted my existing home partition) a new strange behaviour after the fresh install is that all apps i recently have in my Launcher doesn't appear even if i start that app, there is NO icon! does someone know what file could cause this?
