Tried to burn a new 14.04.1-desktop-amd64 .iso image using startup disk creator. Put blank DVD in drive and get report that it is already mounted. Two DVD icons are showen on task bar at left side of screen. Displaying DVD info get report that DVD size is 2.0Kb. Unable to select DVD drive to burn image.
