Public bug reported: Before downloading anything, we should check if after the download the amount of disk space left would fall below a certain "safe" threshold, and refuse the download in such a case.
To make things ever safer, during the download we should also check if other operations are filling up the disk space (e.g. recording a video) and abort the download as soon as we go below the safe threshold. ** Affects: ubuntu-download-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-download-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1413584 Title: Should refuse download if it would leave an unsafely low amount of free space Status in ubuntu-download-manager package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Before downloading anything, we should check if after the download the amount of disk space left would fall below a certain "safe" threshold, and refuse the download in such a case.
