Hi marco. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04, 64-bit, with unity 7.2.3+14.04.20140826-0ubuntu1. I don't see this bug affecting me in the 7.2 series.
I tried many things to trigger this, but I didn't manage to... "Unity Desktop" remains at the top left corner.
