Title:
init-ramfs unable to key in ZFS passphrase

Status in initramfs-tools package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Bug behaviour:

After selecting normal boot in grub on 6.8.0-51-generic you are sent
to the input form in initram to enter your passphrase for ZFS. The
screen displays the form, can take input, then blinks and locks up.

  Expected behaviour:

You are able to key in your passprase and continue on to select which
user to log in as. This is the behaviour in 6.8.0-49-generic where
  this bug does not exist.

  Work around in 6.8.0-51-generic:

Boot into the maintenance mode of the kernel in grub. You are
presented with the textual input (console) for the passphrase - this
  seems to still work.

  Information:

This seems to have been introduced between 6.8.0-49-generic and
  6.8.0-51-generic.
