  Display brightness problem on laptops

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When I open the lid and device exits sleep mode, brightness goes to maximum 
level, despite brightness control shows that brightness is on its normal level. 
It goes back to normal when you try to change brightness manually.
