Title:
after upgrade to 24.10 anyconnect-client isn't connecting to VPN

Status in libxml2 package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Description: Ubuntu 24.10
  Release: 24.10

  Expected to happen:
anyconnect-client connects to cisco VPN as it was before upgrade to 24.10
openconnect connects to cisco VPN as it was before upgrade to 24.10

  What happened instead:
anyconnect-client crashed with some error dialogs(attached)
  openconnect didn't connect

  Details:
until 24.04 everything was working without any issue, after upgrading to
24.10 anyconnect-client isn't connecting to Cisco VPN, openconnect isn't
connecting to Cisco VPN as well.

Later investigation shown openconnect isn't working with fresh install in
virtual machine even with older version(I tried 22.04.5). However "in real
life" it was working for me since maybe 19.10 with continuous upgrading to
20.04, 20.10, 21.04, ..., 24.04 until it was finally broken with upgrade to
24.10
Anyconnect-client is working with fresh install of older releases(<=24.04)
but not working with fresh install 24.10
